CBSE Board Exams 2021 Latest News: The rising number of COVID-19 cases all over the country has led the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to cancel the Class 10 Board Exam 2021 and postponed the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 earlier this month. After CBSE's decision, the CISCE and various other state boards have followed CBSE's path.

The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 have been cancelled and the students will be evaluated on the basis of an 'objective criterion' to be decided by the board.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 revised date sheet: The CBSE has notified that the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been postponed as of now. The decision regarding the revised date sheet for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be taken after a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation in the country on June 1, 2021. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students must note that they will get a 15 days' notice prior to the commencement of the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. On the other hand, the CBSE Class 12 practical exams started from the month of March, and they also have been stalled for stringent restrictions imposed by various states. A clarification on the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 practical exams will also be issued after the thorough review on June 1, 2021.

After the review, the revised date sheet for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 will be released. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was earlier scheduled to start from May 4, 2021 and continue till June 14, 2021.

CBSE competency-based question pattern for Classes 9 to 12: As per a recent circular by CBSE, Augmenting the thrust towards CBE, the Board is initiating further corresponding changes in the Examination and Assessment practices for the year 2021-22." As a result, in the forthcoming sessions a greater number of Competency Based Questions or questions that assess application of concepts in real-life/ unfamiliar situations will be part of the question paper.
