CBSE Board Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important circular relating to the CBSE class 10 class 12 board exams. The interested candidates can check the circular available on the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE has issued a notification to the heads of all CBSE affiliated institutions regarding the updation of teachers' data in OASIS.

It is true that the teachers are of utmost importance in the assessment of learning for students of classes 10 and 12. In its letter the CBSE has mentioned the following things that has come under its purview -

"1) teachers appointed as external examiner have resigned and thus not available to act as an external examiner

2) that in the new session, that is, 2021-22, teachers working as PGT, TGT and teaching classes 11 and 12 and 9 and 10, respectively have been assigned the lower classes. With this availability of teachers has been reduced for practical/ evaluation. This will be viewed seriously.

3) Names of all teachers working in the schools have not been provided in OASIS"

In order to ensure the availability of names of all the teachers in the OASIS, the CBSE has issued the issued the following orders to the schools:

1) It is the duty of the schools to update and correct the data of teachers without fail in OASIS. The schools must note that the OASIS link is open from April 5, 2021 till April 10, 2021

2) The names of all the teachers should be updated

3) The schools have conducted practical with an examiner not appointed by CBSE

The school authorities must note the consequences they might face if the data of the teachers do not tally before and after updation:

1) CBSE will take the necessary actions as per affiliation bye-laws and examination bye-laws

2) A personal penalty of Rs 50,000 will be imposed on the principals of the schools

3) CBSE will not declare their board results of these schools

4) Practical examined by conducted by an examiner not appointed by CBSE will be cancelled. The CBSE will conduct the practicals of those candidates again under its supervision

The CBSE class 12 board practical exams have started from March 1, 2021 and will continue till June 11, 2021. The CBSE class 10 class 12 written exams are scheduled to start from May 4, 2021. The evaluation process for CBSE class 10 and class 12 will start from May 7, 2021.
