CAT 2020 answer key release date: For all the students who have been waiting patiently for the deadline to arrive, here is some good news - CAT 2020 answer key release is set to happen soon, perhaps today itself. The Common Admission Test, CAT 2020 answer keys are likely to be out soon on the official website. Those who had appeared in CAT 2020 exam could check their result on iimcat.ac.in.

As per the CAT exams past trends, the answer keys are released within two days of the conduct of the exam. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, had conducted the CAT 2020 examination across the country on November 29. Hence, the answer key is likely to be out today anytime from now. 

Stay on the page to know the latest update or keep a tab on iimcat.ac.in to find out the answer key when it is released on the website. As far as the window to raise objections against the answer keys are concerned, it usually remains open for three to four days.

The results of CAT 2020 exams are scheduled to declared by second week of January next year.

As many as 2.27 lakh candidates had applied for CAT 2020. The exam was conducted in revised pattern in view of the Covid 19 situation. This time around, sectional time duration of CAT 2020 was reduced from 60 minutes to 40 minutes. Each section—verbal ability, comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability — getting only 40 minutes each.  

Admissions to various IIMs and other top management colleges across the country will be done based on the CAT 2020 score. Candidates must note that the validity of the CAT score is only for one year and qualifying it does not ensure seat in one of the IIMs necessarily. CAT is only a qualifying examination and admission depends on many factors, including availability of seats.
