The recent spike in the number of COVID-19 cases all over the country has been a major cause of concern for the class 10 class 12 board exam candidates all over the country. Be it the CBSE or the regional boards, the board exam candidates and their parents are really concerned about the current situation and the safety of their wards if the board exams are ultimately conducted.

In this scenario, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel-led Chhattisgarh government has decided to announce the upcoming Chhattisgarh board exam 2021 cancel news for class 10 due to the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in Raipur and other parts of Chhattisgarh.

The Chhattisgarh board exams 2021  for class 10 candidates were slated to commence from April 15, 2021. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) stated that the decision regarding the cancellation of the class 10 board exams 2021 have been undertaken because of the surge in the number of coronavirus cases.
However, as for the class 12 board exams, no change has been announced by the CGBSE as of now. The senior secondary, that the class 12 board exams are scheduled to start from May 3, 2021 and will be continuing till May 24, 2021. The CGBSE stated that the new dates for the class 10 board exams 2021 will be announced later.

On March 21, 2021, the Chhattisgarh Minister Ravindra Choubey informed that schools, colleges and Anganwadis will be closed in the state due to the massive rise in the number of COVID-19 cases.
