Giving further details, Assam Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu said that a standard operating procedure for holding the exams will be announced after a meeting with all the stakeholders. However, he asked the students to continue their studies.

The Education Minister said, “The consensus is that exams should be held. Since the COVID cases are declining in the state, we feel it would be safe to hold the exams.”
