NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2021 Date: Only five days to go for the UGC NET 2021 exam but the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the admit cards for the exam. It is expected that the NTA will release the admit cards for the exam soon. The UGC NET 2021 candidates must keep an eye on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UGC NET 2020 December cycle did not take place. So, the NTA decided to conduct the UGC NET December 2020 cycle and June 2021 together. The exam is slated to take place from October 6, 2021 to October 8, 2021, and again from October 17, 2021, to October 19, 2021. However, the admit cards have not yet been issued. 

The UGC NET 2021 candidates must note that the exam will be of three hours duration consisting of two papers.  Paper 1 will consist of 50 questions and the total marks for this paper is 100. Again, paper 2 will consist of 100 questions and the total marks allotted for this paper is 200.

The UGC NET 2021 candidates must also be aware of the marking scheme of the exam. The candidates must note that each question carries two marks. A candidate will get two marks for a correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer. 

The questions in Paper 1 intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate and the questions in paper 2 are based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.

The UGC NET 2021 candidates must note that they have to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on date, shift, time and discipline as indicated in his/her Admit Card.

The UGC NET 2021 candidates will have to follow some simple steps to download the admit cards after they are released. They are as follows: 

Step 1: The candidates will have to login to the website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: The candidates will have to click on the 'Download Admit Card' link which will be present on the home page

Step 3: A new page will open

Step 4: The candidates will have to enter the required credentials

Step 5: The admit cards will be displayed on screen

Step 6: The candidates must download the admit card and take a print out of the same

The candidates must check the website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in for any updates on the exam and admit cards.
