NEET UG Result 2022 Live Updates: NEET UG Result will be released today, September 7. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate, NEET UG 2022, will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG 2022 exam can check and download their results online. NEET UG Result will be released on neet.nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in. The final NTA NEET Result answer key and merit list will also be released along with the result. The exam was conducted on July 17 this year.
The examination was held in 3,750 centres across the country. A total of 18,72,341 candidates registered for the undergraduate medical entrance exam, out of which 16,14,777 aspirants appeared. All the candidates who qualify for NEET UG 2022 will have to take part in the NEET counselling session which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% of All India Quota seats. The counselling for 85% of state quota seats will be conducted by the counselling authorities of the state.

The examination was conducted at 3570 different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India. A total of 1872343 candidates appeared for the examination.
NEET UG Result 2022: Admission in State Medical Colleges / Universities / Institutions / private medical colleges for seats other than 15% All India Quota
i. Admission under State Quota Seats shall be subject to reservation policy
and eligibility criteria prevailing in the State/Union Territory as notified by
the respective State/Union Territory from time to time.ii. The reservation of the seats in medical colleges for respective categories
shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in the State/Union Territory
concerned.iii. Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses in Private Medical
Colleges shall be subject to policies of the Government of
India/State/Union Territory.NEET UG 2022: All India Rank
NTA will only provide All India Rank to candidates while Admitting Authorities will invite applications for Counselling and a merit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the Admitting Authorities. Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on All India Rank as per merit list of NEET (UG) - 2022.
NEET UG Result 2022: Merit list
An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared based on All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) - 2022 and candidates shall be admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses from the said list only, with the existing reservation policy.
NEET UG Result 2022: Document verification
During counselling, the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified by the respective authorities and/or Medical / Dental Colleges. - The Counselling for successful candidates for Seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% State quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the data of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other Universities may use the score for any other relevant courses being offered by them.

NEET UG Result 2022: Marking
Physics, Chemistry and Maths are divided into 2 sections. All the questions in section A are compulsory. In section, B candidates were asked to answer only 10 out of 15. There was negative marking for Section B.

NEET UG Counselling 2022
Candidates who qulified will be able to participate in the centralised counselling, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15 per cent. Highest Applications This Year
The medical entrance exam saw the highest number of applications this year. About 95 percent attendance was recorded in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET (UG), which had received a record 18.72 lakh applications this year.
