Haryana Budget 2023 Live: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who also holds the Finance portfolio, is presenting the Budget 2023-24 today. Before presenting the Haryana Budget, Khattar held a series of pre-Budget meetings to know the suggestion and incorporate them into the Budget.

The Haryana Budget  Session of the Legislative Assembly began on Monday with an address by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. The Budget Session will be conducted in two phases. The House will go in for a recess after the presentation of the Budget today. The House will reconvene on March 17 and conclude on March 22.

Haryana Budget 2023 Announcements:

  • These families will be asked to make a nominal contribution of Rs 1,500 per family per annum covering 50 per cent of the subscription amount for receiving medical treatment cover of Rs 5 lakh in any empanelled hospital
  • The state government has also proposed to extend the benefit of Chirayu-Ayushman Bharat scheme to all families whose annual income, as per the data verified by Parivar Pehchan Patra (family ID), is above Rs 1.80 lakh and up to Rs 3 lakh.
  • Haryana Budget 2023: The state has decided to increase the sanctioned fleet strength of Haryana roadways from 4,500 to 5,300 buses.
  • The Haryana government proposed a new 800 MW thermal power plant.
  • Haryana proposes to integrate government and private ambulances and all fire services with Dial 112 services to provide quick responses to health and fire emergencies.
  • The Haryana Budget has an allocation of Rs 50 crore for the new building of the Haryana assembly.
