Farmers in the Capital will get richer now since the state government has revised the circle rate for the acquisition of land.

Farmers in South Delhi will now get Rs 5 crore per acre of land.

Farmers in New Delhi will also get the same rate (Rs 5 crore per acre) for their land.

For farmers in North, West, South West, and North West, the circle rate has been revised to Rs 3 crore.

Under the new rates, farmers in Central and South East will get Rs 2.5 crore per acre, while the lowest rates have been kept for farmers in Shahdara, North East, and East, who will get Rs 2.25 crore for each acre of land.

The file of the revised circle rates for farming land has been sent to the lieutenant governor for notification.
