SpiceJet raises captains salary to Rs 7.5 lakh a month
The airline had also revised the salaries for its pilots in November 2022, when the salary of captains had been raised to Rs 7 lakh a month for 80 hours of flying.
Spicejet is entering the 18th year of its existance and the airline celebrated the occasion with increasing salary of their pilots (captains), first officers and trainers. As per the recised renumeration, the salary of the captain has been increased to Rs 7.5 lakh a month for 75 hours of flying. The airline informed that the hike will be applicable from May 16, 2023.
The airline had also revised the salaries for its pilots in November 2022, when the salary of captains had been raised to Rs 7 lakh a month for 80 hours of flying.
Along with captains, salaries of trainers (DE, TRI) and first officers have also been increased commensurately.
Additionally, the airline has also announced a tenure-linked monthly loyalty reward for its Captains of up to Rs 1,00,000/- per month, which would be over and above their monthly remuneration.
