Reliance Jio has unveiled a new postpaid plan priced at just Rs 199 with 25 GB data monthly and free unlimited calls. A quick comparison shows that Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular are providing similar plans but the price that they are charging is virtually double!

This massive new offer from Reliance Jio comes in the wake of a stellar quarter in terms of sales by the company. It reported a 1.2 per cent sequential rise in standalone net profit in the fourth quarter of FY18. The net profit stood at Rs 510 crore in the just-concluded quarter against Rs 504 crore notched in the October-December 2017 period. The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) fell to Rs 137.1 per month against the previous Rs 154.
