ZEE Business SAP Dare to Dream Awards 2019: After an overwhelming success of celebrating India’s top-performing SMEs of 2017-18, it is time to bring into limelight the success stories of SMEs in 2019 who dared to dream big and made a dent in the business world through their path-breaking ideas. Zee Business - SAP Dare to Dream Awards, instituted in 2018, seeks to recognize the shining stars of SME who have worked assiduously to position India as the best performing emerging economies.

Nominations for the Dare to Dream Awards 2019 are now open for those who risked dreaming big, are the role models for India’s home-grown enterprises and inspire next generation entrepreneurs. Applications shall be accepted till 20th Sep (for Delhi event) for those enterprises who have an annual turnover of minimum Rs. 100 Cr. in FY 2018-19. The awards for 2019 are divided into two broad categories – nomination led for company of the year and felicitation led for rest of the categories. First is for Company of the Year and Second is for other categories: Business Person of the Year, Women Entrepreneur, Inspirational Leader, Young Business Leader, Emerging Company of the year, Business Transformation through Technology.

Those applicants fitting the pre-defined criteria shall be invited to the city forums as per below dates to share their success stories and appear on National Television.


 

Highlights of Last Year
The first edition of Dare to Dream Awards saw thousands of young entrepreneurs & innovators participate, of which 105 were felicitated across 7 cities. Entrepreneur of the Year, Inspirational Leaders, Young Business Leader, Women Entrepreneur, Emerging Companies were the top award categories to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of India.

The culmination of the campaign had the Union minister to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of India. Shri Giriraj Singh had quoted, “For the first time in India, start-ups have been given a platform by PM Narendra Modi”. Adding he said, “Young entrepreneurs should empower themselves and set an example for everyone else”.

Some winners were Mr. Ramesh Agarwal (Business Person of the Year), Mr. Dinesh Agarwal (Business Person of the Year), Mr. Ramesh Babu (Inspirational Leader), Mr. KS Rathee (Inspirational Leader), Ms. Radha Venkatesan (Women Entrepreneur) and several others.
