In a bid to give competition to Reliance Jio, telecom major Bharti Airtel has come up with a new year-long prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 1,699. The plan has a validity period of 365 days and comes with unlimited calling facility, data, and SMS messages benefits. The Rs 1,699 plan of Airtel will compete against Reliance Jio's Rs. 1,699, which also has a validity period of one year. Airtel has not put any Fair Usage Policy (FUP) on the unlimited voice calling. Airtel has already launched the Rs. 1,699 plan in Himachal Pradesh circle and is slated to launch the same plan to other circles soon, according to TelecomTalk Info.

Airtel's Rs 1699 plan and its benefits
The Rs 1699 plan of Airtel comes with the unlimited calling facility - local, roaming, and STD calls and unlike Jio Airtel has not put any FUP on its unlimited calling facility. Other benefits include 1 GB of daily data and 100 SMS per day. Airtel is also offering access of the premium content through Airtel TV app. This plan is only available for select circles only.

Bharti Airtel- Rs 1699 plan of Airtel comes with unlimited local and national calling without any FUP for a validity period of 365 days. The plan also includes unlimited roaming, and 100 free SMS daily along with 1GB daily 2G/3G/4G data.

Vodafone Idea - Priced at Rs 1,499, the plan offers unlimited local and national calling long with 100 SMS per day. It also comes with 1GB daily 2G/3G/4G data. The users can enjoy high-speed internet downloads at just 50 paise per MB after exceeding the daily usage limit.
