Vodafone India has announced free voice calling and data rollover schemes for its postpaid subscribers. The company said it has added benefits under three plans - RED Traveler, RED International and RED Signature.

“The New Vodafone postpaid plans under RED Traveler come with free national roaming and the guarantee that a consumer will never be charged for a call made from anywhere in India to anywhere in India. With Inbuilt Free data quotas up to 200GB and a Data roll over feature that allows consumers to carry forward unused data, Vodafone further guarantees that its postpaid consumers will never waste unused data,” the operator said.

“Furthermore, consumers opting for RED International will enjoy Free ISD minutes to USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore,” it added.

Vodafone’s new tariff plans are seen in direct competition to Reliance Jio that also offers free voice calling to all its subscribers.

The company has ‘guaranteed’ 20% savings on total rentals of new plans.

It also listed the below benefits on subscribing to the new plans.

  • The gift of up to 12 months of Free NETFLIX
  • Free access to latest movies and live TV with Vodafone PLAY
  • Access to over 4000 of the world’s best magazines at their fingertips with free subscription to MAGZTER
  • Free access to RED SHIELD, a handset protection feature that protects consumers’ handsets from theft and damage.
