If you are going to catch a Vistara flight then you must reach airport at least 120 minutes prior to the journey. The airline has asked its customers to report at least two hours before the departure for check-in. Vistara in a tweet said that this will allow it for additional security checks, including secondary checks prior to departure. Besides that, the airline has also requested the flyers to carry minimum hand bags and larger baggage such as roll-on bags and stroller as early as possible.  This decision was taken to reduce the delay in flight, it said.

"Accordingly and temporarily for the period, these enhanced checks are in place, we will permit pooling of hand baggage allowance with check-in allowance to facilitate these bags being checked in free-of-cost," Vistara said in a statement. The customers will be allowed to carry a small bag such as laptop bag, briefcase, small backpack, ladies purse, and their boarding passes.

Power banks and spare batteries will not be permitted in check-in baggage. These items have to be carried by the passengers in their handbags. However, electronic devices such as laptops, phones, toys, and tablets can be put in check-in luggage. But these devices should be switched off.
