India's test cricket team captain Virat Kohli has bought a luxury apartment in real estate developer Omkar Realtors and Developers' residential project 'Omkar 1973' located in Worli area of South Mumbai for Rs 34 crore.

The cricketer has bought a 7,171-square feet sea-view apartment on the 35th floor of tower C of this super-luxury project, The Economic Times reported on Friday quoting two persons close to the development. 

According to the news report, the tower C the most luxurious of total three towers in the project, will also be home to cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who bought a similar configuration apartment on 29th floor in 2014. 

Kohli's luxury apartment will be a bare-shell open sky bungalow that will be customised as per his requirements later on. 

"While the talks for buying the apartment have been going on for the last few months, the transaction has been concluded recently. While the apartment will be bare-shell, it can be customised into a lavish five-bedroom house," the report said quoting one of the persons mentioned above.
