His entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 22. With a couple of hundred dollars and two rented computers, he founded a website design company called Magnon Solutions. Within a decade, Magnon became one of the largest digital agencies in India. In 2012, Magnon became a part of the Fortune 200 global media conglomerate- Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC).

Today, Magnon comprises 3 award-winning agencies, namely Magnon eg+, Magnon Designory and Magnon Sancus, employing 350+ people, with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru (India). Magnon has been recognized as a luminous growth story in the Indian digital media industry by various newspapers, magazines, and television channels. Serving some of the biggest brands in the world, including several Fortune 500 companies, Magnon is ranked amongst the top 10 advertising groups in India. Vineet continues to lead the group as Founder and Group CEO.

Vineet has also led the global top-ten advertising agency TBWA as its India CEO. This made him perhaps the youngest ever CEO of a multinational advertising group in the country.

In a parallel avatar of being a media-tech entrepreneur, Vineet is also the Founder & CEO of Talentrack. It all started in 2015 when an idea germinated in his mind about creating a platform that could provide the media, entertainment, creative and arts (MECA) sector with easier access to talent. After months of research, he unfolded that the media and entertainment industry is the second-largest employment generator in India, and yet there was no tech-based talent or industry aggregator in the MECA space. Vineet leveraged this opportunity and founded Talentrack in January 2016 with a seed capital of $1 Million from Unigrowth, a Canada-based India-focused investment fund. Today, Talentrack is positioned as India’s leading mobile platform for talent-casting, and content crowdsourcing in the media & entertainment sector, with over 15,000 verified recruiters and over 400,000 registered artists.

He is also the pioneer of digital & OTT content awards in India. Talentrack Awards are the most sought-after trophy in the digital entertainment sector.

Vineet has won several entrepreneurship and corporate excellence awards, including the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2013, the CNBC Mercedes Benz Young Turks Award 2014 and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2016. He was recently listed by Business World among the 100 Most Influential People in India’s

Digital Ecosystem. He was also dubbed as "the Spiderman of the web browser..." by Forbes magazine.

Apart from being a multinational CEO and an entrepreneur par excellence, Vineet is also a nationally bestselling author with eight books to his credit. He has written three bestselling management and inspirational books – Build From Scratch (2004), The Street to the Highway (2011) and The 30 Something CEO (2016). The central driver behind these books was his strong desire to give something back to the entrepreneurial and SME community, as a part of which he had spent the first decade of his career. Written in an uncomplicated style, the books show that business growth is not the result of some supernormal capabilities of a few super-individuals but is an outcome of a systematic and well-planned construct of strategies and actions. The books continue to be bestsellers and serve as a powerful training tool for budding entrepreneurs across the globe.

After writing three well-received business books, Vineet expressed the creative storyteller in him with his fiction novels, the Harappa Trilogy and the Mastaan Trilogy. The books won rich critical and literary acclaim. The screen-adaptation rights of the Harappa Trilogy have been acquired by one of the largest film production companies of the country. The Times of India has called Vineet - ‘...undoubtedly India’s new literary superstar’.

With two successful enterprises and being an author, it's obvious that he spends every waking minute of every day immersed in work. But he does have some ways to unwind. Vineet loves reading, cooking, spending long evenings with close friends, and strumming the old guitar once in a while.

The Vineet Bajpai success story is a testament to the power of incessant, continuous effort and persistent human endeavour.
