NSE Q4 Results: The country's largest stock exchange, the National Stock Exchange (NSE), today (May 15, 2023) declared its fourth-quarter results and dividend, clocking a 19 per cent jump in its Q4 standalone profit to Rs 1,810 crore. The company in its filing said that the standalone Q4 operating revenue soared 32 per cent YoY to Rs 3,295 crore.

The stock exchange informed that it had declared a dividend of Rs 80 per share to the investors, amounting to pay out of Rs 3,960 crore.

In the March quarter of FY23, the consolidated net profit of NSE increased to Rs 7,356 crore against Rs 5,198 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company's income from operations increased to Rs 11,856 crore from Rs 8,313 crore in the corresponding period last year.

For the full year, NSE's earnings per share also increased from Rs 104.95 to Rs 148.58.

On the trading volume front, cash markets recorded average daily traded volumes of Rs 53,694 crore, which was 20 per cent down YoY.

The equity futures slid 3 per cent and were down to an ADTV of Rs 1,14,831 crore.

However, options ADTV soared 73 per cent YoY to Rs 47,744 crore (premium).

NSE said that in FY23, Rs 204.45 crore was given to the Core Settlement Guarantee Fund.

With it, the total core settlement guarantee fund has increased to Rs 5,284 crore.

During the financial year ended March, NSE contributed Rs 28,989 crore to the exchequer, out of which the share of Securities Transaction Tax (STT) was Rs 21,965 crore.
