Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, earlier this month, had announced Jio Prime Membership where existing and new customers who sign up for Reliance Jio 4G mobile connection till March 31, 2017 will be eligible to be members of this exclusive club. Under this, they would pay Rs 99 as a one year fee to access unlimited Jio services for Rs 303 per month.

Ambani had said that the offer is open for all existing 100 million Jio customers.

Following this, India's largest telecom service provider Bharti Airtel, on Monday, said that the company will not charge any extra money for incoming, outgoing or data on roaming. 

Meanwhile, for Reliance Jio customer, Jio Prime Membership begins from March 1, 2017 and will be open for a month. 

Jio, on Tuesday, announced various plans that Jio Prime members could susbscribe to. 

As per the Rs 303 per month plan, users will get all calls free while data will be capped at 1 GB per day or 28 GB per month and unlimited SMSes. 

For Rs 499 per month, data will be capped at 2 GB per day or 56 GB per month. 

Jio said that if customers choose to pay Rs 999, Rs 1,999, Rs 4,999 or Rs 9,999, they would enjoy 60 GB, 125 GB, 350 GB and 750 GB of 4G data downloads each month for 60 days, 90 days, 180 days and 360 days, respectively. 

The company has also released "add-on vouchers" ranging from Rs 11 to Rs 301 that will provide 4G data of 0.1 GB to 10 GB.
