Reliance Jios 4G feature phone may be available for pre-bookings from July 22

The 4G VoLTE enabled phone is speculated to be priced at Rs 500; however the pre-booking amount has not yet been revealed.

Jio’s 4G phone with many smartphone-like features will come packed with 512MB of RAM plus 4GB internal storage and 4GB internal storage along with an ‘Indian’ voice assistant.

Leaked images of the phone showed that the phone will be sold under Jio’s sister brand – Lyf and will have a 2.4-inch colour screen on top and dual-language keypad at the bottom. The price of the phone was rumoured to be as low as Rs 500.

Along with this the phone will have options to access Jio Apps and Facebook and Whatsapp.

Jio phone may have the option for video calling as well. The new phone may have Bluetooth 4.1 and USB tethering as well, the report added as well as GPS.
