With rising instances of drone-based aerial threats to restricted installations under defence and private airspace, the Defender aims to provide a first-of-a-kind capability to the Indian defence establishment to get rid of rogue drones flying over unauthorised airspace.

The Defender has been launched at a time when drone-based threats continue to challenge important assets worldwide.

Anjali Rattan, Business Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises, said that the Defender is an important addition to the company's new product line-up, adding that the offering will level the playing field.

Nagendran Kandasamy, founder & CEO of Throttle Aerospace Systems (TAS) said that the drone Defender represents a key milestone in India’s journey of self-reliance in defence preparedness.
