He refused to comment on this as the plan is at a very early stage. He said DR Lal PathLabs has been approached by a company which manufactures drones.

He further said that there are many places in the country, especially in hilly areas, where it takes a long time to collect samples. So, this scheme can be used as emergency services.

'It is too early for me to comment anything on this. This is going to take a lot of time. Right now this is in a feasibility stage because there are a lot of companies approaching us who are in this business. And we also have to see what is the regulatory requirement. So, I would really say it's too early. It's just in the feasibility and evaluation phase,' the CEO said.

The company, which started in the year 1949, is one of the largest diagnostic chains in the country. The company has more than 5000 tests and services on its list. It has 230 clinical labs, 3,700 patient care centers, and more than 9000 pickup points across the country. I have a very large PR presence across India.
