IPL 2018: The Indian Premier League kicked off from Saturday, so to speak, with Mumbai Indians (MI) competing against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). IPL is celebrated almost as a festival by every Indian citizen, and there is always a huge craze in stadiums to watch their favourite team or players perform well. To make this IPL season even more exciting, Reliance Jio has decided to deploy 4G advanced Massive MIMO in order to give high speed experience to their users. Not only this, the stadiums of IPL matches will also be connected with pre-5G massive MIMO units to enhance the performance of the super-fast 4G speed for users.

According to Reliance Jio statement, the stadiums of IPL matches will be connected with pre-5G massive MIMO units to provide super-fast 4G speed to users. Massive MIMO will provide more than 5 times the capacity in a 30 MHz wide band spectrum in these high user density venues. 

The telecom-giant in a notification said, "This advanced pre 5G deployment will provide true digital experience to stream, share and post the contents at super-fast speeds."

It needs to be noted that the offer is available for matches held in Delhi and Mumbai stadiums only. 

The two stadiums will get connected with an array of High speed wireless broadband solutions ranging from Massive MIMO, 4G eNodeBs, hundred of Wi-Fi and small cells to provide seamless superfast high speed user experience to the Jio users. 

Jio further stated that, the company being the fastest growing network in the world, has much to offer to subscribers and this seamless, advanced pre-5G solution will enable high capacity network that allows enhanced digital experience at the IPL match venues. 

The IPL is a professional T20 cricket league in India contested usually between April and May of every year by teams representing Indian cities and some states. The teams involve cricketers and bowlers across countries.
