Bharti Airtel is now going an extra mile to make its tariff plans more attractive to beat the competition stirred by Reliance Jio. In its latest move, Airtel has launched a new recharge pack of Rs 149 to lure its prepaid customer by giving 2GB data benefit per day for one month. It needs to be noted that, Airtel offers this plan to users of same circle. Airtel in past few months has learned to play the game the way Reliance Jio has done. RJio entered the telecom market and disrupted it with its free offers, unlimited calling and heavy data packs. AIrtel is paying back in kind, much to subscribers joy. And now, it looks like Airtel has finally beaten RJio with its Rs 149 recharge pack, here’s how:

The telecom service provider offers voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The plan works out per GB data at Rs 2.66. It is giving a total 56GB data for 28 days which works out to 2GB data per day.

Apart from this, Airtel is also giving 100% cashback offers.

Interestingly, Reliance Jio fails on both these terms of data and price if compared with Airtel's Rs 149 pack.

RJio has a Rs 198 pack, which gives 2GB data per day for 28 days. With this RJio is giving 56GB data overall in the period. There is unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day along with complimentary subscription in Jio apps. In this, Airtel gives same service at much cheaper rate.

Then there is a Rs 149 pack from RJio but that gives 1.5GB data per day for 28 days. Other benefits are same like Rs 198 pack. If compared to this, Airtel gives heavy data.

Airtel is providing 2G, 3G and 4G data, but Jio is offering only 4G data.
