Honda Cars India registered a growth of 13.3% in May in domestic sales. It's sales grew to 11,278 units in May 2017 as against 9,954 units in corresponding month last year.

This was as the company received strong demand for the new City and WR-V. While the new Honda City sold 4,046 units during the month, Honda WR-V was the second largest sales for the company with 2,814 units sold during the month.

Other models sales during May include Brio sales of 378 units, Jazz 1,818 units sold, Amaze sold 1,323 units, BR-V sells 870 units and CR-V sells 27 units.

Honda Cars India also exported a total of 498 units in May 2017.

Yoichiro Ueno, President and CEO, Honda Cars India said, “We are happy to have achieved positive growth in May sales. We continue to receive strong demand for New City and Honda WR-V. The government’s plan for timely rollout of GST & a better monsoon forecast will aid in sales growth in coming months.”
