Handset maker Motorola Monday said it has slashed prices of two of its models -- Moto E5 Plus and Moto X4 -- by upto Rs 2,000 as the company looks to cash in on the festive season.

"For the upcoming festive season, Motorola today announced price cuts on two of its most popular products: Moto E5 plus and Moto X4," the company said in a statement. 

The Moto X4 4GB RAM model will now be available for Rs 15,999 instead of Rs 17,999. The 3GB variant has also received a price cut of Rs 2,000 and will retail for Rs 13,999, it said.
