The typical practice among most companies is to offer a day or two off during the festive season. However, Meesho is prioritising the mental well-being of its staff, extending a substantial nine-day paid leave to allow employees to fully embrace and celebrate the festival while spending quality time with their families.

The specified leave spans from November 11 to 19, providing all Meesho employees with a chance to recharge, reconnect with loved ones, and focus on their mental health. This move marks the third consecutive year where the company is offering an extended annual break, demonstrating its commitment to employee welfare.

Meesho's emphasis on mental health and overall well-being is evident in its approach. The company believes that this extended break will infuse the returning team with a renewed sense of happiness and enthusiasm, aiming to create a positive impact on their work dynamics.

Ashish Kumar Singh, Meesho's Chief Human Resources Officer, highlighted the observation that employees returning from such extended breaks exhibit higher energy levels, reflecting a distinct joy and zeal in their work.

Notably, Meesho recently concluded its Mega Blockbuster Sale from October 6 to 15, drawing 1.6 crore new app installations during the event. The sale, focused on home, kitchen, fashion, and beauty products, saw a staggering 72 products being ordered every second.
