Maruti Suzuki sells over 1.3 lakh Balenos since launch
RS Kalsi Executive Director Marketing and Sales of Maruti Suzuki said, Baleno is one of the big success stories of the Indian auto industry. It is truly a symbol of Make in India campaign.
Launched in October 2015, Maruti Suzuki's premium hatchback Baleno has emerged as top selling model for the company with over 1.33 lakh units sold.
In a year, Baleno's domestic sales have reached to 1 lakh unit. Also 33,800 units of Baleno cars have been exported across the world, including Japan and Europe.
“Baleno marks a symbol of the Make in India mission, and is exclusively manufactured in India. This would be the first car to be exported from India to Japan,” said the company.

Maruti Suzuki further plans to export the car to 100 international markets.
