LIC IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has opened in the primary market today. Investors will get a chance to invest money in it till May 9, 2022. The price band of LIC IPO has been fixed from Rs 902 to Rs 949 per share. Discounts have also been kept for different categories. A discount of Rs 45 per share has been given for retail and eligible employees and Rs 60 per share for policyholders.

1. Reliance Power 
The first on the list is Reliance Power. The size of the company was Rs 11563 crore and it remained open between 15-18 January 2008. The issue price of Reliance Power was Rs 450 but it has declined by 96.8% on its issue price. The IPO was subscribed 73.04 times.   

2. General Insurance 
The second on the list is General Insurance. The issue size of the insurance was Rs 11372 crore and it remained open between 11-13 October 2017. The issue price of the company was Rs 912 but it was declined by 85.4% from its issue price. The IPO was subscribed 1.38 times. 

3. Paytm 
Paytm is third on this list. The issue size of Paytm was Rs 18300 crore and the issue remained open between 8 - 10 November 2021. The issue price of the company was Rs 2,150 but it was declined by 72% from its issue price. The IPO was subscribed 1.89 times.   

4. Coal India 
Coal India is fourth on the list. The issue size of the company was Rs 15475 crore and the issue remained open between 18 - 21 October 2010. The issue price of Coal India was Rs 245 but it was declined by 23.7 from its issue price. The IPO was subscribed 15.28 times. 

5. SBI Card 
SBI Card is the odd man out on this list. The issue size of the firm was Rs 10354 crore and the issue remained open between  2 - 5 March 2020. The issue price of the SBI Card was Rs 755 but it was increased by 8.6% from its issue price. The IPO was subscribed 26.54 times.
