Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd (KPCL), a major player in Air, Refrigeration & Gas Compression business in India, has declared a final dividend of Rs 3 per share taking the overall dividend to Rs 5.50 per share or 275 per cent.

Kirloskar Pneumatic clocked Rs 1,239.34 crore as revenue from operations, registering a 21 per cent jump on year-on-year basis. It had posted Rs 1,201.18 crore revenue in FY22.

Kirloskar Pneumatic's net profit or profit after tax (PAT) improved to 8.7 per cent of the total income and came in at Rs 108.58 crore compared to Rs 84.92 crore representing 8.2 per cent in FY22.

The growth in sales came on the back of the export of gas and refrigeration packages to the Middle East region. The company in a statement said that its new launches - Calana, the Booster compressor that was introducd during the year to address the requirement of off line gas stations, were well received and they have a strong order pipeline.

Kirloskar Pneumatic's orderbook stands at Rs 1,150 crore as on April 1, 2023, lower than Rs 100 crore of the pervious year same time. Kirloskar's EBITDA improved to Rs 177 crore compared to Rs 151.45 crore registering about 16.9 per cent growth over FY22.

Kirloskar Pneumatic was founded in 1958 and operates in air, refrigeration and gas compressors and systems, vapour absorption chillers and industrial gear boxes catering to a range of sectors such as steel, cement, cold chains, F&B, pharma, railways, defence and energy sector. KPCL is a major player in the CNG business in India.
