Indraprastha Gas Q4 results: Leading city gas distributor Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) reported a decline in its profit in its Q4FY23 results on May 12. The net profit stood at Rs 397.51 crore – declining by more than 7 per cent as compared to Rs 430.93 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Despite a considerable fall in the profit, the gas supplier's revenue from operations registered a sharp increase of 53 per cent in the January-March quarter, as it stood at Rs 4,061.63 crore, as compared to Rs 2,649.77 crore in the year-ago period. 

Before the results, the share price of the company closed at Rs 490 on Friday, registering a fall of Rs 3.05 after opening at Rs 493.05.
