IndiGo, the country's largest airline has come up with four new daily non stop airline for the flyers. The new flights are between Delhi-Agartala and Delhi-Dibrugarh, which will commence service from August 14. The non-stop daily flight Delhi-Agartala will depart from Delhi at 1:45 pm, reaching the destination at 4:20 pm. Meanwhile, the return trip will initiate from Agartala at 4:50 pm, reaching the capital city at 7:25 pm.

The Delhi-Dibrugarh daily flight will leave Delhi at 11:45 am and touch grounds at 2:25 pm. The return trip will fly from Dibrugarh at 2:55 pm and reach Delhi at 5:50 pm.  William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo, said that the airline has come up with these flights in line of the government's vision to strengthen tourism in the northeast. 

He further added that the airline's decision will help nurture tourism and trade opportunities in the region. Not only Agartala`s rich culture and Dibrugarh`s sprawling tea estates but also other nearby regions will undergo similar transformation post the flights.
