ICICI Bank iMobile app: ICICI Bank is trying to make banking faster and simpler with its mobile banking app, iMobile. According to the bank, the iMobile app includes auto-tagging of transactions using algorithms into labels which helps customers understand their financial health and proactively shows upcoming transactions based on their past spending, quick fund transfers by grouping all types of payees into a single workflow and intuitive navigation to help orient customers.

We believe that bringing all of these instant products and services to the Bank’s iMobile app will further enhance customer convenience and make their banking experience hassle-free.”

Here’s a look at some of the key things that you can do instantly using the iMobile app: 

Insta personal loan - ‘Insta PL’ enables pre-approved customers of the Bank to avail a personal loan and get it credited directly to their account in a matter of seconds.

The customer does not need to produce any collateral or security which makes the entire process paperless and instant. The eligibility of the customer to avail this service is dependent on their credit history.

Insta credit card – This first-of-its-kind offering in the Indian banking industry enables the savings account customers of the Bank to get a credit card instantly, in a completely digital and paperless manner. The service enables a few lakh of pre-qualified customers of the Bank to instantly get the credit card number and other important details online, using which, he/she can immediately start shopping online, without having to wait for the physical card to arrive. The credit card comes with a credit limit of upto Rs four lakh based on pre-checked bureau scores. Customers will also get the physical credit card within few working days.

Insta savings account – Customers who are new to the Bank can now open a savings account instantly using the iMobile app. The service comes close on the heels of the Bank’s efforts of digitisation and can be availed within a few minutes. Customers can start transacting using the account instantly after verification using an Aadhaar based KYC process. Once the account is opened, they can enjoy over 200 services offered by the iMobile app in a completely paperless manner.

Customers can also opt to convert their instant savings account into a regular savings account by completing the physical KYC process within a period of one year. The physical KYC process will be conducted in a seamless manner by an official of the Bank as per customer convenience, after which they will be issued a debit card and a cheque book.

Insta Fixed Deposit – The service enables customers to open a Fixed Deposit on-the-go, within a few minutes using the iMobile app. The facility takes customer convenience a notch above, as it brings in all the details pertaining to the investment to a single screen. It provides customers a real-time graphical representation of the expected returns for the amount that they invest as well as the applicable interest rate that the investment shall fetch.

Insta Mobile protection plan – The instant ‘Mobile Protection plan’ under the All Risk insurance is exclusively available to the Bank’s customers and provides a one-time accidental screen damage protection cover for select models which are less than one year old. The group policy is underwritten by ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company and the Bank’s customers can enrol under it in 3 simple steps instantly, in a completely digital and paperless manner using the iMobile app.

Quick Fund Transfers – Customers can now seamlessly make single-click fund transfers for low value transactions using the iMobile app. The facility eliminates the need for the customer to first register the beneficiary before making a fund transfer of upto Rs. 5000.  With this, customers now make a maximum of 3 quick fund transfers worth upto Rs. 5000 every day by simply entering the beneficiary’s account details.

Scan to Pay – Ultra-checkout      

Customers can now make faster payments using this feature on the iMobile app that enables them to make seamless payments without logging in to the app. The customer simply needs to scan UPI / Bharat QR code and authorize the transaction using fingerprint or Mpin.

Insta purchase/sale of digital gold –  The facility enables customers to buy and sell gold, digitally, using the iMobile app. The service enhances customer convenience as it does away with the hassle of storage. The customer can buy the gold as per their convenience in either Rupees or Grams and can also place a sell request which gets executed immediately and the funds are credited to their account instantly.

Real-time analyses with ‘Discover’ feature - The iMobile app now offers a first of its kind feature to customers that provides them services like instant consolidated statement of transactions done through the year, a graphical representation of spending patterns, suggestions for future transactions based on past transaction records as well as an option to track deliverables and service requests. 

Insta SIP – Customers can now enrol for a Mutual Fund Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) within a few minutes using the iMobile app.

- Log in to the iMobile app > Invest & Insure > Insta SIP

- Enter the amount for SIP you wish to create

- Funds are suggested basis your risk appetite

- You can select one of the suggested funds or choose on your own

- Confirm the SIP creation
