"We hear from Group admins that they're looking for ways to help them earn money to deepen engagement with their members and continue to support their communities," The Sun quoted Facebook Group product manager Alex Deve as saying. Alex said many Facebook group admins do this today by creating an additional subscribers-only Group.  Subscription Groups will make it possible for the Group admins to collect payments directly through Facebook, the report said.

The Group admins will be able to manage subscription directly via Facebook app on iOS or Android phones. The social media company said Sarah Mueller is one of the launch partners for Subscription Groups, who run a Group called Declutter My Home. The Facebook Group motivates people keep their their houses clean. Her another subscription Group Organise My Home give tutorials, live videos" and more, the report said.

For the subscription to the Group, Sarah is charging $14.99 per month. If the Facebook initiative becomes successful then many interest Groups will be able to earn money for their projects through membership subscription.
