Budget carrier Goair will be launching a daily direct flight to Kannur from the city, starting January 10.
The airline will be the first carrier operate services to Kunnur from the Mumbai. The Kannur international airport, Kerala's fourth facility, was inaugurated on December 9.
Kannur will be the airline's 24th domestic destination, Goair said in a release Wednesday. Goair, which operates 234 daily flights, will launch international services from Kannur shortly, it added.
