Grofers Chief Executive Officer Albinder Dhindsa in a blogpost said, “We are confident we will be under 10 minutes for the majority of the customers within the next 45 days, as we sign up more partners and keep building out our network.”

“Customers can now order over 7000 items of everyday essentials and experience ultra-convenience,” the startup said in its blog post.

At present, our average delivery times are still hovering around the 15-minute mark, however, our eventual vision is to be below 10 minutes for every customer in India, the company said in a post.

Grofers on Tuesday launched 10th city with the promise to deliver groceries within minutes to customer’s doorstep.

Similarly, Grofers founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa also tweeted about the service. "Our next goal is to bring the delivery time to below 10 minutes for the majority of our customers within the next 45 days. If we don't serve your area yet, we will be there very soon," he said.

Zomato, last month, has invested USD 100 million (around Rs 745 crore) for acquiring a minority stake of 9.3 per cent in Grofers, which was approved by the Competition Commission of India last week. This stake buy will give Zomato more exposure to the online grocery segment.
