Gensol Engineering Ltd has informed exchanges that it has bagged two new EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solar projects worth Rs 337 crore. While the first one is a 250 MWac/350 MWdc ISTS solar power project in Rajasthan, the second is a 50MWac/72.5MWdc solar power project in Maharashtra.

The value of both projects is Rs 337 crore.  

" The contracts encompass design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services, with modules as free-issue items, highlighting Gensol's expertise and commitment to the renewable energy industry," the company said in an exchange filing.

Established in 2012, Gensol Engineering Limited has installed both groundmounted and rooftop solar installations totalling more than 600 MW. Also, the company has established a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) production facility in Pune, dedicated to crafting electric three-wheelers and four-wheelers. 

Earlier, the company won an NHPC contract in the Union Territory of Laddakh.  

Under the secured contract, the company will develop a 500 kW Kargil Green Hydrogen Mobility Station. The project will be completed within 12 months from the issuance of the work order, the company said in a statement on exchanges.

In October, the company won a contract worth Rs 301.5 crore from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (Mahagenco).
