The flight services to Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar have been affected today due to powerful cyclone Fani, which has affected a large part of Odisha, West Bengal and some north-east states. Following the weather department warnings, domestic airlines GoAir, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Vistara have cancelled flights. These airlines have requested passengers to visit the respective airlines' websites for updates.

Flights to and from Bagdogra and Dibrugarh may also be affected due to the cyclone. The customers will get a refund for the cancelled flights. The airlines have asked their customers to visit the respective airlines' websites for details about flight cancellation, refund procedure, and other details. The airlines have waived off the ticket cancellation fees for the customers, as many flights have been affected due to Fani.

"#CycloneFANI update: Please note updated flight cancellations for Bhubaneswar (BBI) and Kolkata (CCU) below for May 4, basis revised weather advisory. We will try to operate special flights on Sunday, May 5 to clear backlog if required, once airports re-open," Vistara tweeted today.
