Health and personal care major, Colgate-Palmolive India on Monday said that it has declared its second interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share for the year 2016.

“The Board of Directors of the company, at their meeting held today, declared a second interim dividend of Rs 3/-  (Rupees three only) per equity share of Re 1/- face value, for the financial year ending March 31,2017,” the company said.

The company said that the interim dividend will be paid on the paid-up equity share capital of Rs 27.20 crore involving a total pay-out of Rs 98.22 crore, including dividend distribution tax.

“Please note that the said interim dividend declared by the Board at their Meeting held today will be paid on December 27, 2016, to those shareholders whose names appear on the register of Members of the company on December 16, 2016,” the company added.

The company had earlier set December 16 as the record date for payment of the interim dividend.

Shares of Colgate-Palmolive India went up marginally by 0.09% to Rs 927 per share on BSE Sensex intraday.
