Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ICICI Bank, took home a total remuneration of Rs 7.85 crore during the financial year 2017, which is a jump of 64% as against Rs 4.79 crore in the financial year 2016, as stated by bank's annual report.

Kochhar's per day income stood at Rs 2.15 lakh. Her basic salary increased by 15% to Rs 2.67 crore in FY17, the report mentioned. 

Moreover, during the fiscal, her bonus was Rs 2.2 crore. 

Reportedly, the total remuneration included perquisites as well as retiral benefits. 

As per the report, Kochhar's monthly basic salary stands within the range of Rs 13,50,000-Rs 26,00,000. 

"Our large size, capital base, robust funding profile, extensive distribution network, diversified portfolio, presence across the financial services sector and leadership in technology, position us very well to leverage the growth opportunities across the economy," Kochhar said.

At 1610 hours the shares of the bank were trading at Rs 321.65 per piece, up 1.28% or Rs 4.05 on BSE.
