Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced a broadband plan for Rs 491 through Twitter on Thursday, claiming it to be the 'most economic broadband plan.' BSNL said that this plan is already live for the users and it comes with 20GB data per day for 30 days at 20Mbps speed. The telco is offering a high-speed connection along with unlimited free calling to any network.

Priced at Rs 777 and Rs 1,277, BSNL in June introduced two new FTTH (Fibre-to-the-Home) plans. It is offering  500 GB monthly data at 50 Mbps under the Rs 777 plan, while the Rs 1277 plan comes with 750 GB monthly data at 100 Mbps speed.

Yesterday at Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries, Reliance Jio announced a new host of services in the FTTH( Fibre-to-the-Home) sector. The telco announced its new service of Jio GigaFiber and Jio GigaTV. With 1Gbps speed, Jio will be offering its fibre broadband service to 1,100 cities initially. The registration for the service would start on August 15th on My Jio app and Jio official website reported Telecom Talk.
