Notably, Jio had introduced the similar daily data plans, but BSNL is following the same strategy in the broadband segment. Earlier this year, the state owned telco introduced four plans starting at Rs 99 with daily data benefit up to 5GB per day, but those plans didn’t ship with voice calling benefit.

According to the report, BSNL’s Experience Unlimited Broadband plan of Rs 249 used to come with a monthly rental of Rs 249, providing 8 Mbps speed for up to 15GB FUP, and up to 1 Mbps for further usage. The plan used to allow free local/STD calls to BSNL network besides providing free calls to any network between 10:30 PM and 6 AM and on Sundays.

Now in the revised plan, the monthly rental will reportedly be increased to Rs 299, and the FUP will also enhanced to 1.5GB daily data with 8 Mbps speed. The calling benefits have also revised, and the telco has added Rs 300 worth of free calls to any network across India, along with earlier calling benefits.

For new subscribers of Experience Unlimited Broadband 299 plan, the BSNL has reportedly outlined a Rs 50 cashback per month for 180 days. Further, BSNL’s basic broadband plan of Rs 99 extends better benefits than the Rs 299 broadband plan.
