Consumers never had it so good! In the wake of fierce competition in the sector, Vodafone India has introduced 3 new plans for prepaid users with each offering 1.5GB of data per day. The tariffs have crashed ever since the entry of Reliance Group's telecom arm Reliance Jio, which has completely transformed the landscape of the telecom sector. It has rather forced rival operators to rework their plans due to its hugely-competitive tariffs.

This offer spans Vodafone Rs 209, Rs 479 and Rs 529 plans. They have a validity of 28 days, 84 days and 90 days, respectively. The new plans also include unlimited voice calls, capped at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week, besides having 100 text messages per day.

Interestingly, the three new plans will also be allowed voice calls to just 100 unique numbers throughout the plans’ validity period. The plans are also bundled with free ‘Vodafone Play’ subscription, which allows users to watch more than 300 Live TV channels and other content from different providers.

The new Vodafone prepaid plans are reportedly available in select circles, but would soon be rolled out for wider coverage.
