Bharti Airtel came up with its new prepaid plan of Rs 289, which covers the customers who opt for calling instead of data usage. The plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and is valid for a 48-day period.

According to BGR report, this plan also offers 1GB of mobile data to its customers along with 100 SMS per day which comes with a validity of 48 days. 

When compared this plan with other telecom operators like Idea and Vodafone within same price range, then the competing telecom operators also offer decent plans. 

Idea Cellular offers unlimited voice calling for Rs 295 prepaid plan with a validity of 42 days. This plan also offers 5GB mobile data with 100 SMS per day. But the point to be noted is that the Airtel plan comes with a limit of  250 minutes of calling per day and 1,000 minutes of calling per week.

However, Vodafone offers unlimited voice calling for Rs 279 prepaid plan with a validity of 84 days. This prepaid plan also offers 4GB mobile data with 100 SMS per day.

When compared all three operators plans then the Vodafone offers much data with more validity and in less rate compared to Bharti Airtel and Idea.
