Bharti Airtel Q4 Results 2022: Bharti Airtel posted a 22.3 per cent Year-on-Year (YoY) jump in its consolidated revenues at Rs 31500 cr for the quarter ended 31 March 2022, the company said in its filing to the exchanges. The growth was backed by strong and consistent performance delivery across the portfolio, it said. Its revenues from the Indian business stod at Rs 22500 cr for the reporting quarter and were up 22.7 per cent YoY.

The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the March ended quarter was at Rs 2,008 cr versus Rs 759 cr in the year ago period. It was up by 164.4 per cent.

The company's board has also recommended a difidend of Rs 3 per equity share.

The results were decalared after market closing time. Bharti Airtel shares today ended at Rs 707.55 on the BSE and were up by Rs 14.75 or nearly 2 per cent from the Monday closing time.

1) Mobile services India revenues up 25.1 per cent YoY, led by increase in ARPU largely on account of flow through of tariff increase done in previous quarter.

2) Airtel Business revenues up by 12.9 per cent YoY backed by robust demand for data portfolio and emerging businesses

1) 4G customers up by 21.5 Mn YoY & 5.2 Mn QoQ, crossed +200 Mn milestone, 62 per cent of overall customer base

2) Mobile ARPU increased to Rs 178 in Q4’22 vs Rs 145 in Q4’21

3) Mobile data consumption up by 28.7 per cent YoY, consumption per customer at 18.8 GB per month

4) Homes business showcased continued momentum, 323 K customer net additions in Q4’22

6) Airtel Payments Bank continues to witness accelerated adoption leading to increase in monthly transacting users by 26 per cent YoY, thereby expanding revenue and profit margin

7) Paid Rs 8,815 cr towards part prepayment of deferred liabilities pertaining to 2015 spectrum, continues to focus on financial flexibility and optimizing the capital structure and finance cost.
