Baba Ramdev's Patanjali is set to enter Andhra Pradesh in a big way. Patanjali will set up a massive Food and Herbal park in the state. It is anticipated that Patanjali Food and Herbal park will provide jobs to 33,400 people in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh.

"Rs. 634 Cr will be invested in Patanjali mega food park which will be built in Chinnaraopalli village. Also, the project will employ 33,400 people directly and indirectly." Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said in a tweet.

As per a release by the CM's office, the establishment will be spread over 172.84 acres. Processing facilities such as grading and packing facility for spices and grains, dry warehouse and cold storage with blast freezer would be installed in the park, which will form a part of the core processing facility.

A pathbreaking collaboration between government & private sector on a global model to render 4E (Employment, Empowerment, Economy & Efficiency) in the process from "Farm gate to food plate." Patanjali spokesperson Tijarawala SK tweeted. 

A pivotal unit to extract juice, with a capacity of 1500 tonnes per day would be set up in an addition to the investment of Rs. 45.20 crore. 
Products like noodles, frozen vegetables, spices, biscuit and juices processing units would largely be very favourable to the farmers of the region, the release said.
