Consumers expected Bharti Airtel to come out with a cutting-edge plan in response to Reliance Jio's Double Dhamaka offer. However, the telecom firm instead revised its entry level Rs 99 prepaid plan. Under this plan, Airtel will offer 2GB data, unlimited voice call and 100 SMSes in one day. The Airtel plan comes with a validity of 28 days, while RJio's Rs 98 offer extended unlimited calling, 2GB 4GB data along with 300 SMSes for 28 days. In one aspect Airtel beats Jio as it offers 100 SMSes every day while the latter gives 300 SMSes for 28 days. Rest of the plans are same on both telecom platforms.

Earlier, RJio launched the Double Dhamaka plan by revising two packs of Rs 149 and Rs 399. RJio is offering 3GB data per day for just Rs 120 and Rs 299, revising its Rs 149 pack into Rs 120, wherein, the company is giving a total 84GB data for 28 days.

Rs 399 plan has also been revised to Rs 299 where RJio is offering 252GB data for 84 days and the same works out to 3GB data per day. The offer is available on only my Jio Apps.

Notably, RJio is also giving 20% cashback on these new recharge packs along with 1.5GB additional data available on all daily recurring recharges in the month of June.
