Airtel new plans December 2019: Bharti Airtel has announced new tariff plans for its users which will be applicable from December 3. Last week, the telecom operator had announced that it will increase the rates of its prepaid plans from December 1, a date that was later pushed by two days.

Last week, the telecom operator had announced that it will increase the rates of its prepaid plans from December 1, a date that was later pushed by two days. The telco has now announced new plans in 'unlimited' category with 2 days, 28 days, 84 days and 365 days validity. It has also announced that calls to other networks have been capped at 1,000 minutes in case of plans with 28 days validity, 3,000 in 84 days validity plans and 12,000 in 365 days validity plan.
Once this limit is reached, the customers will have to pay an additional cost of 6 paisa per minute for outgoing calls. The decision to change rates was taken after the company posted a Rs 23,045 crore net loss for the 2nd quarter ended September 30, due to a Rs 28,450 crore provisioning move following Supreme Court ruling on statutory dues on AGR.

Airtel has also capped outgoing calls that can be made to other networks to 1,000 minutes in case of plans with 28 days validity, 3,000 in 84 days validity plans and 12,000 in 365 days validity plan. Beyond this limit, the customer will need to pay 6 paisa per minute for outgoing calls
Here are the new Airtel plans from December 2019:
Rs 19: Unlimited calls, 100 SMS and 150 MB data. The pack will be valid for 2 days.
Rs 49: Rs 38.52 talktime and 100 MB data. The pack will be valid for 28 days.
Rs 79: Rs 63.95 as talktime and 200MB data. The pack will be valid for 28 days.
Rs 148: Unlimited calling, 300 free SMSs and 2GB of data. The pack will be valid for 28 days.
Rs 248: Unlimited calling, 100SMSs/day and 1.5 GB data per day. The pack will be valid for 28 days.
Rs 298: 2 GB data per day along with unlimited calling facility and 100 SMS/day for 28 days.
Rs 598: 1.5 GB data per day and 100 SMS/day. The pack will come with a validity of 84 days.
Rs 698: 2 GB data per day and 100 SMS/day. The pack will come with a validity of 84 days.
Rs 1498: Unlimited calling, 24 GB data and 3600 SMS. The plan will be valid for 365 days.
Rs 2398: Unlimited calling facility and 100 SMS/day. Valid for a year.
