In India, the telecom sector has seen some major shifts and shocks which is an outcome of Reliance Jio's aggressive entry into the market to lure customers riding on the back of affordable heavy data and unlimited offers. Because of this, other telcos have taken some major hits to their earnings, forcing them to enter the pattern of RJio's way of doing business. Companies like Idea Cellular, Vodafone and Bharti Airtel have openly blamed RJio for disrupting the telecom market, and have now started to offer recharge packs mainly to retain their customers. In a latest development, Airtel has now launched three new combo recharge packs in prepaid category providing offers for 28 days each. Interestingly, it is noteworthy, that these three new combo recharge packs are even lower than Rs 98 which was the lowest prepaid recharge pack for 28 days offered by Airtel.
