Telecom-giant Bharti Airtel has been introducing various offers for their prepaid customers to take on Reliance Jio, which has disrupted the market by starting a tariff war that has forced the a massive consolidation exercise in the sector. After aggressive launches in prepaid packs, the Sunil Mittal led company has now buckled up in postpaid category as well with its recharge pack of Rs 399 by offering a massive 40GB data.

The Rs 399 plan generally offers a total 20GB data per month along with unlimited calls which are without FUP limit and 100 SMS per day. 

Interestingly, Airtel has also increased the data by increasing additional 20GB in this plan. This means now the company is offering 40GB data under Rs 399 postpaid plan. 

It needs to be noted that, the plan has data carried forward facility.

In addition, it also gives free subscription of Airtel TV and Wynk Music to its subscribers. However, this plan does not have the complimentary Amazon Prime subscription. 

Interestingly, according to TelecomTalk report, you can also avail Rs 50 discount on the Rs 399 plan which makes the valuation of this postpaid plan now at Rs 349. 

Reportedly, the discount offer is valid for six months, which means a total amount of Rs 300 is being given by Airtel. This move from Airtel could be to attract new postpaid users.

The company has started advertising its customers stating that one can avail the 40GB data benefit by shifting to this postpaid plan.
